The project plans, schedules of projects have been developed. The first step in the development was to create a model template schedule plan. Since most of the projects the company is building construction projects of the panel, as a pilot, was selected the project, the construction of multi-storey panel building with several sections.

As part of a collaboration with a development company, I implemented a project to create a full set of schedule plans for the project portfolio using Microsoft Project Professional 2013. The work lasted six months and made it possible to establish a standardized approach to planning and controlling the construction of facilities with different configurations.

The first stage involved analyzing the project structure and defining the key phases that influence timelines and quality. Responsible persons were assigned to each phase, which allowed the formation of dedicated work teams and the establishment of an effective interaction system. This approach ensured transparency in task distribution and became the foundation for further template development.

Using MS Project Professional 2013, a detailed schedule template was created, covering the full range of activities — from construction and installation stages to interior finishing processes. A correctly structured task hierarchy made it possible to assign resources and costs at different levels and, when necessary, to further detail specific parts of the project without disrupting the overall logic of the plan.

Based on the template, individual project schedules were developed for each facility in the portfolio. Despite differences in the number of floors and sections, the basic construction technology remained unified, which significantly simplified development and reduced the time required for preparing project documentation. This ensured a consistent data structure across all projects and provided management with convenient tools for comparison and analysis.

The resulting project portfolio in MS Project Professional 2013 enabled the company to enhance its management capabilities: real‑time planning and replanning, resource load assessment, progress tracking, timeline transparency, and better control of critical paths.

The project became an important milestone in systematizing the company’s project activities. Developing schedules and implementing a unified standardized tool improved team efficiency, increased planning accuracy, and laid the foundation for further enhancement of the company’s project management system.
